For the Exposition Universelle in 1900, Jouve sculpt five bas relief for the monumental entrance door.
From his models, Alexandre Bigot will produce a frieze in glazed grès cérame reproducing several times these bas relief. Bigot will then commercialize reductions of different models.
Several other ceramists will also edit Jouve’s sculptures.
